เชิญชวนครูวิทยาศาสตร์ส่งผลงานนักเรียนมัธยมต้นเข้าร่วมประกวดเว็บเพจ
สมาคมส่งเสริมพัฒนากำลังคนสเตมเพื่ออนาคต (The International Association for the Future STEM Workforce: IAFSW) ร่วมกับ Microbiology in Schools Advisory Committee (MiSAC) สหราชอาณาจักร และศูนย์ระดับภูมิภาคว่าด้วยปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงเพื่อความยั่งยืนของซีมีโอ (SEAMEO SEPS) จัดประกวดเว็บเพจในหัวข้อ โรคเขตร้อนที่ถูกละเลยและการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพอากาศ (Neglected Tropical Diseases and Climate Change)
โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความตระหนักให้แก่เด็กและเยาวชนด้านวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ โดยเฉพาะที่เกี่ยวกับโรคเขตร้อนที่ถูกละเลย (Neglected Tropical Disease, NTDs) ซึ่งมีผลร้ายแรงต่อประชากรโลก รวมทั้งผลกระทบจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพอากาศ
โดยมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมต้น หรือ เกรด 7-9 ในกลุ่มประเทศ ASEAN Plus Three
ทั้งนี้ได้กำหนดให้โรงเรียนส่งผลงานภายในวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2567 โดยแต่ละโรงเรียนส่งได้ไม่เกิน 10 ผลงาน

Attention Teachers of Grades 7-9 in ASEAN Plus Three countries!
We invite you to facilitate your students' participation in the Joint IAFSW-MiSAC Competition 2024. This exciting opportunity allows students to showcase their creativity and knowledge by creating compelling web pages on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and the impact of climate change on global health.
Encourage your students to select one Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) of their choice and craft an informative and engaging web page that delves into its causes, effects, and preventive measures.
Additionally, highlight how climate change exacerbates the chosen disease and disrupts communities. Students may produce their entries either by hand or computer to captivate their audience.
As a teacher, you play a vital role in guiding and supporting your students throughout the competition.
Please ensure that each student selects only one NTD and submits their entry accordingly, with a maximum of ten submissions per school by May 1, 2024. For more details, visit https://ntds.iafsw.org/
